Mozart escreveu este concerto com 29 anos, Horowitz toca-o mais de 200 anos depois, com 86 anos (3 anos antes de morrer) como se tivesse os 29 anos de Mozart ao escrevê-lo. A música não tem tempo nem lugar, nem idade, nem raça, nem género. Mozart viveu apenas 35 anos. Inacreditável.

This movement is played too slow by everyone. It’s marked adagio; some editions have andante. The form is siciliano, which is a dance. This movement is not a dirge. It has a slight lilt.
